The Archeological Museum
One of the most important museum in the Cyclades, the archeological museum of Kea is located in the capital of the island, Ioulida. The museum features some very important and unique exhibits from the excavations on the island, from the Neolithic until the historic period.
Folklore Museum
The folklore museum of Kea, is located in the heart of Mylopotamos, a place which is dedicated in to the presentation and the promotion of Kea’s heritage. The visitors have the opportunity to see a great variety of folklore exhibits, such as old agriculture tools, objects of domestic use and decoration for the houses of Kea, traditional costumes from the 19th century and photos but also an improvised hydroelectric mechanism from Mylopotamos, constructed in Kea’s Enamel Factory in 1950.
